Kawajiri
research group is looking for an undergraduate researcher in the Summer
Semester. The student will utilize many of the techniques covered in this
course. If you are interested, please send your (1) resume and (2)
expected graduate date to Jason Bentley (jason.bentley@chbe.gatech.edu)
and set up an appointment with him to discuss your interest.
Project: Experimental study of simulated moving bed chromatography
Project: Experimental study of simulated moving bed chromatography
The
Kawajiri research group specializes in modeling, process design, optimization,
and bioseparations (chromatography). In this project, the student will
develop a mathematical model that describes SMB chromatography. The student
must be interested in mathematical modeling of separation processes.
Eligibility:
1.
Completed or currently taking CHBE 2120 Numerical Methods.
2. GPA
at Georgia Tech > 3.40.
3.
Interested in pursuing this project for credits in Summer 2012.
