The Petit Undergraduate Research Scholars is a competitive research opportunity scholarship program which allows undergraduates to conduct independent research in the laboratories of the Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering & Bioscience Developing the next generation of researchers by providing a stipend and research supply support for an entire year. Scholars are mentored by graduate students and postdocs in GT’s state-of-the-art laboratories and develop their own research project from January to December.
Program Details
- $5,900 stipend to be paid over the course of the calendar year (Jan-Dec)
- GT students may elect to waive stipend payment in spring or fall semester in lieu of receiving research credit
- Conduct research 12+ hours a week in spring & fall semesters and 40+ hours a week in summer semester.
