Academic Advising appointments

Fall advising is underway, so here's a reminder about scheduling your appointments.  Undergraduate students are advised by Ms. Ami Ivanecky and Dr. Pradeep Agrawal.  

• To make an appointment with Ms. Ivanecky, go to http://www.advising.gatech.edu/index.html  Please include your GT ID# and the purpose of your visit in the comments field.  Students are seen by appointment Monday-Thursday, 9:30-noon and 1:30-4:00 p.m.  Walk hours for quick advising questions or issues are Friday, 9:30-noon and 1:30-4:00 p.m.  

• To make an appointment with Dr. Agrawal, please email Pradeep.agrawal@chbe.gatech.edu.  

First term freshmen are advised as follows:

• Students in GT1000 for ChBE majors:  Dr. Agrawal and Ms. Ivanecky will visit your class to provide your first term advisement. 

• Student in general GT 1000:  you will probably receive registration instructions, but you may wish to confirm your course selections with an advisor via email before registration opens  or schedule an individual appointment.  

• Freshmen who are NOT in GT 1000:  plan to meet with an academic advisor before registration.

All students enrolled in ChBE 2100 are required to meet with a faculty mentor.  Information regarding scheduling this meeting will be forthcoming. 

All students enrolled in ChBE 2110 are REQUIRED to meet with an academic advisor before they can register for classes for the following term!

Do NOT wait until registration opens to schedule your meeting! There are 900 undergraduate ChBE students.  There are two advisors.  Remember:  lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!.
