NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU)

The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University will be hosting a REU Site in Micro/Nano-Structured Materials, Therapeutics, & Devices this summer.  This will be the seventh year of this highly interdisciplinary program which provides a diverse group of undergraduate participants a novel opportunity to conduct research at the interface of biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Faculty mentors represent three Colleges – the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, the Harrison School of Pharmacy, and the College of Science and Mathematics.  Students will work closely with Auburn University faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students in laboratories on creative projects focused on micro/nano-structured materials, therapeutics, and devices. Past REU fellows of the program have been very successful in their future endeavors, with many of them pursuing careers in research.
