Shell has some open spots in their “Shell Drilling &
Production Camp” in Robert, Louisiana (north of New Orleans) on March 17-22,
2013. The camp is an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure to the
energy industry and upstream operations, and offers a “hands on” environment
for students. The facility has equipment and lab space, which emulates an
onshore and offshore working environment with training on “live” systems.
Students are responsible for the cost of round-trip
transportation from Georgia Tech to the New Orleans airport. All other expenses
for the camp, as well as transportation from the airport to the camp, are paid
for by Shell.
The students must apply, have a 3.2 GPA, be authorized to
