Welcome back everybody and Happy New Year!
Apparently folks missed the email the registrar sent out about the waitlisting feature so we decided to write a little something here to try and explain what is going on.
Waitlisting will not be turned on until Friday. This means that any class that you are waitlisted for or that has waitlisted seats will not kick in until the registrar turns the system "on" on Friday.
It is our intentioon to open enough seats to accommodate everyone on the waitlist for the core CHBE courses.
This DOES NOT INCLUDE Process Control or Unit Ops. I will be working with graduating seniors to give them first priority to those seats. This also DOES NOT APPLY to CHBE electives.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone next week and good luck this semester!!
Does this essentially mean that Safety and Senior Design will be expanded to accommodate the waitlisted seniors?
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly do we have to do on Friday to be transferred from the waitlist to the active enrollment once this system is turned on?
That is correct. Safety and senior design should receive enough seats to accommodate everyone on the current waitlist. We are currently moving them into larger classrooms.
ReplyDeleteOnce waitlisting is turned on you will receive an email telling you to register for your waitlisted seat. You will have 12 hours from the time you receive the email.
When will more seats become available for ChBE 2110 and 2120?
