Be a Part of the Newest Leadership Initiative on Campus

Our Dean of Engineering, Dr. Gary May has stated“We should be thinking creatively about what’s the next issue that’s going to require engineering and technology solutions, so we can get in front of it.”

This implies that as an engineering school we should not only promote a curriculum that encourages engineering competence, but one that discusses its implementation into the working world. As part of Dr. Peterson's campus-wide Leadership Initiative,

GT StartUp engages the most ambitious young college students Georgia Tech has to offer, providing personalized instruction and mentorship to help them maximize their potential.  We augment a rigorous Georgia Tech education with leadership and professional development – but all of this is only possible by the help of outstanding leaders like YOU.

“The next generation of leaders in technology will address society's grand challenges by augmenting engineering skills with an understanding of business principles.  GT StartUp is poised to reinvigorate our approach to education by developing students into the drivers of innovation.”
--- Dr. Gary May, Georgia Tech Dean of Engineering
