Engineers Week

Engineers Week is February 19th - 25th and will incorporate a variety of events and competitions in which your members can participate.

As you may already know, E-Week is held annually in February to celebrate the engineering profession and the contributions of engineer's in our communities. Tau Beta Pi organizes multiple events every year for the entire campus to participate in. These events are designed to promote teamwork, creativity, and fun.

For 2012, we have scheduled nine fun and exciting events:

Tuesday Feb 21 -               Skyscraper Structures Competition          Location:  Klaus 1447

                                           Paper Airplane Competition                    Location:  Top of hill on Atlantic Drive

Wednesday Feb 22-       Egg Drop                                                      Location:  Calloway Plaza

Thursday Feb 23-          Rocket Competition                                      Location: Skile's Walkway

                                       Rubik's Cube Cozmpetition                         Location:  Skile's Walkway

Friday Feb24-                Comedy Night                                              Location:  TBA

Unlike previous years, this year we will be holding friendly competitions among the schools of engineering (AE, BME, ME etcs…).  And to top this off, we will have PRIZES for the winners (1st place is $75, 2nd place is $50).  Also, the organization that accumulates the most points will win a Trophy!!  We hope to see you there!!!
