Many undergraduates engage in research opportunities offered
by professors in ChBE. We are especially proud of our students who participate
in this extra endeavor that supplements the standard curriculum. Research
enhances the undergraduate experience and provides practical training for
post-baccalaureate education and employment.
For those of you who are currently conducting research as a
ChBE undergraduate, please consider participating in the 2012 Air Products
Undergraduate Research Symposium on Friday, April 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00
p.m.
You will have the opportunity to present your research to
your peers, graduate students, professors, and corporate representatives from
Air Products. Additionally, monetary awards will be given for the three best
posters: $400 first place prize, $300 second place prize, and $200 third place
prize.
Participation in the event requires the following
commitments:
* Prepare a 40"x32" poster and 100-word abstract
* Provide your resume in a PDF format to Air Products
* Provide your poster in a PDF format to Air Products
* Discuss your poster and related research during the event
* Registration Deadline: Friday, March 23.
* Materials Deadline: Friday, April 6.
