Undergraduate Research Program

Hey Students: Would You Like the Opportunity to Work on Cutting-Edge Science & Technology?

The Material Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC) is recruiting students for once in a lifetime Undergraduate Research Assistant (URA) positions.  These URAs will receive the opportunity to participate in NSF funded research on epitaxial graphene. Students will receive:
  • $2500/ year
  • Graduate level research experience in an innovative and ground breaking field
  • Partnership with current Graduate Research Assistants from the MRSEC lab
  • Participation in BreakThru, a virtual mentoring research project (with an additional $400/ year compensation)
To apply to the program, you must currently be a sophomore or junior, have a minimum 3.00 GPA, are an ISYE, ME, Chem, BioChem, EE, CompE, Phys, ChemE, ChBE, BME, or MSE major, and have some form of learning, physical or sensory challenge.
