GT is forming a Formula
Hybrid team. Formula Hybrid™ is a design and engineering challenge for
undergraduate and graduate college and university students.
The students must design, build,
defend, and compete an open-wheel, single-seat, plug-in hybrid racecar, www.formula-hybrid.org .
An information session will be
held for undergraduate and graduate students interested in participating in the
competition.
We are looking for students of
all disciplines and all class standings.
When:
Tuesday September 13th at 5pm.
Where: The
meeting will be held in Van Leer C457
What: Topics
to be discussed include
--overview of the Formula
Hybrid Competition
--introduction of faculty
advisors
--proposed team structure and
process for selection of team leads
--planned formation of student
organization sponsored by SGA
--design project for
ME4823/ECE4803 Hybrid Electric Vehicle Powertrains
Pizza and soda will be provided.
Hi, I was wondering if a Formula Hybrid team will be formed this fall? I am a grad student in Mechanical Engineering and would like to join the team if possible. Thanks a lot!
