Campus Events

Please see the following concerning events around campus:

MedLife Club

Are you interested in:
*Shadowing Doctors and Dentists*
*Traveling abroad*
*Making a difference in people's lives*
*Volunteering*
*Making new friends*
*Experiencing a new culture*

If any of these apply or if you just want to go on a fun trip then MedLife is the club for you! MedLife is an international, student run, organization in which students raise money and travel to one of the three locations (Peru, Ecuador or Panama) and host medical clinics for the people without access to medical attention.  It is an amazing opportunity to visit a new country, gain valuable life experience, and have fun!

The Georgia Tech chapter of MedLife will be hosting its first general meeting Monday, October 24th in the Instructional Center room 115 at 6 PM. For more information about the club you can email at medlife.gt@gmail.com

Alpha Kappa Psi hosts Southern Company

October 19th, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the College of Management Room 101.

Ally Hung and Rui Thomas who work in the Risk Analysis and Capital Markets group at Southern Company will be speaking on how to quantify and mitigate risk as well as take students through the process of how companies issue debt.  I encourage everyone to attend this event as this will give everyone a good opportunity to learn how to handle risks in an uncertain economy. Students interested in entrepreneurship and finance are recommended to attend this event.
