Gynecology
and Obstetrics at Emory University along with Morehouse School
of Medicine have a great program for rising Juniors who are interested in
translational research, specifically in the area of endometriosis. The program
is striving to improve diversity in the research (race/ethnicity, handicaps,
economically disadvantaged); this will be the program’s 2nd year.
A few Details:
- 2 year program – 40 hours per week in the summers, 10 hours per week in the academic year in a laboratory at Emory University or Morehouse School of Medicine
- Stipend
- Primary focus on translational research in endometriosis
- Shadowing of specialists in Gynecological Surgery or Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
- Deadline: January 15, 2012
