ExxonMobil Seminar and Lunch This Thursday

ChBE Undergraduate and Graduate Students:

I would like to invite you to an ExxonMobil Success Program Seminar presented by Mr. Archie Meyer entitled "Building a Career in a Changing World" this Thursday, October 27 at 11:00 AM in EST L1255 (the ChBE auditorium).

Mr. Meyer graduated in 1983 from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, in 1982 from Morehouse College with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemistry and received a Master’s in Business Administration degree in Finance from Clark-Atlanta University in 1989. He has worked with ExxonMobil for over 22 years in various staff and operational assignments.   Mr. Meyers was appointed as the CORS Operations Manager responsible for ExxonMobil’s company’s largest US market with ninety locations, over 1000 employees and revenues of over $500 million annually.  His team was responsible for the operation, employee health and safety and assisting the convenience retailing efforts in this area. During his tenure, the market was successfully reintegrated after years of having dual Operations Managers for the East and West halves of Houston.  In 2005, Mr. Meyer was relocated to Fairfax, VA site of ExxonMobil’s Fuels Marketing World Headquarters.  His first assignment was as the US Retail Sales Advisor with planning responsibility for the US retail operations and then finally in 2007 was moved to his current assignment as the Investment and Projects Advisor for the United States in the company’s Global Planning organization.  Recently his portfolio was increased to include the retail operations in the America’s South region, which includes the Caribbean, Central and South America.

A delicious lunch will follow the presentation in the lower level atrium.  I hope that you will be able to attend.

Sincerely,
Sue Ann Allen
